Please observe a few simple rules when using your online banking service. This will enable you to protect your account from unauthorised access.
Fraudsters ring you up or send you emails that look like they were sent by the Sparkasse. They call upon you to make test transfers, provide your bank details, telephone numbers or similar. Or they redirect the user to a deceptively realistic copy of the Sparkasse website to gain access to your online banking data and corresponding TANs.
Important: Your Sparkasse would never ring you up or send you an email asking you to enter your IBAN, PIN, TAN or credit card details on an Internet page.
Another important point to note is that viruses and Trojans can enter your computer or smartphone via attachments or links in emails. Be careful when opening emails, SMS or MMS
and only install programs from trusted sources.
If you have received a suspicious call or message, forward the case to warning@sparkasse.de for evaluation. The computer emergency team of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe will then issue a security warning if necessary.
Further helpful information on the subject of phishing can be found on the corresponding information page of sparkasse.de.
