Please observe a few simple rules when using your online banking service. This will enable you to protect your account from unauthorised access.
Use a secure Internet access and browser
Be careful when transferring data via a wireless local area network
(WLAN or Wi-Fi). It is best to activate WLAN only when you need it. If you use such a network, Internet security is only guaranteed if you activate the encryption mode. For your WLAN wireless network, use the encryption method that offers the greatest possible protection. Please refer to the description of your WLAN router for more information on the various methods.
Important: Do not use online banking in publicly accessible or unsecured wireless networks (“hotspots”). Your data could be spied on.

Important: Always use a reliable browser on your PC and mobile devices and ensure that updates are carried out at all times. In this way the browser can meet the latest security standards.
